Edward doesnt really Sparkle!!

In Twilight Movie Companion book the caption says:
"Edward Greets Bella on a rare sunny day in Forks, WA"

But if it was sunny wouldnt Edward be sparkling?????
Has anyone else spotted this???? And he wouldnt be wearing sunglasses unless it was sunny now would he?

I Think Someone should have spoken to Catherine Hardwicke!
